This week was very eventful; received my A level results and found out the next day that I had to go for an operation.
Walking for the past week was pretty painful for me and I ignored the pain, thinking that it would go away because I thought I had just injured my tailbone while I was cycling. Turns out, a lump (or more accurately, abscess) formed near where the tailbone is.
Right now, there is a hole the size of a ping pong ball where the lump was. Needless to say, I was really happy to have gotten rid of the lump and walking has been alot less painful. However, redressing the wound is a complete pain in the ass. Literally.
I'm really thankful for the amount of time my mom took off work to meet me at the hospital and accompany me during my revisits to get the wound checked out or redressed. It is a pretty big wound; it must not have been easy to stomach looking at such a wound before/after a meal.
Before being wheeled in
Woke up with this which I assumed was how they administered GA to me
Excuse me for being the only one who's not antisocial
My dad is the only person who can take a photo of me being wheeled in and send it to my mom
I've been given an MC for 17 days but that's too long...I can't wait to go back to school to see my students again. I have to at least say goodbye to them before the internship ends.
While my A Level grades were okay even though I expected a lot better, I'm still very thankful for what I've been blessed with and I believe that I was meant to get these grades. Will be attending a lot of open houses to help me finalise my decision. I hope I won't be a hindrance to a lot of people because I can't walk very fast haha ><
