Sunday, February 9, 2014 @ 5:56 PM It's quite funny how I took up the teaching internship thinking I want to be a music teacher and I wanted to see what it was like being a math teacher although I was not intending to become one in the future.At this point of the internship, I am very sure that I DON'T want to be a music teacher, but the idea of becoming a math teacher is starting to look very appealing. I just think it's a waste to study what you love about music (e.g. music history, etc.) and when you come back, MOE assigns you to teach general music and you can't share the knowledge you went abroad to study. I don't want to be able to teach GMP knowledge which I can teach now without needing to further my studies locally/overseas. While you can appeal to teach higher music, MOE has the final say. Anyway, I visited St. Nicks last friday :)))
