But during one catechism session (can't remember when), I started thinking of these questions and asked hem myself. After which, I loved my parents more, said thank you very much for everything little thing they give me and give them a big hug. Ha, think its so childish? I THINK NOT. Believing in God is one thing, but do we really love him? Is going for weekly mass something you are oblinged and willing to do to be blessed? Or is it just a weekly must-do routine? Do you look around and find that you have everything you could ever want? Do you realize that by having so how much your mommy and daddy loves you? Do you have enough food? Do you drink clean, fresh water everyday? Do you have a roof over your head? Think your parents are nagging at you just because you are a teen? Would you rather your parents didn't care about you? Leave you alone? Gave you nothing? Leaving you to provide for yourself? Think about this: Everytime you are in trouble or are stuck in a very difficult situation, Worse if you are lost in this foreign land and you need help, help, help. Who is the one person you can think of to call for help? PARENTS :) Ahh, the joy of having parents. Our joy of call, our unsung heroes, our caretakers. Just love them, eh? That's why for my MEP song, I have called it PARENTS. In thanks for my parents, I have wrote good things about them. I think quite a number of people in my class wrote poems about...Teenage problems (I presume correct?), involving parents don't leave a stone unturned when it comes to handling you or whatever blub. My song is pretty common, nothing special. Hope my voice doesn't crack on the day of the presentation. I will be hitting a few a bit high notes. *sigh* So many things to do, so little time. Ciao :) Amanda Foo (P.S. What I wrote is completely random. If you disagree with me, I don't want to be involved in anyway. I think maybe its a wrong idea to post it? Nevermind. I'll see how it turns out. No offense, in anyway, okay?) |
