Special events-- Mom's Birthday (10 Aug)
-- Singapore's birthday (9 Aug)
-- Beijing Olympics (8 August)
Hello All =D

Yes, it is another Sunday. Day of hectic with no rest or pleasure (unlike the way its supposed to be). I can prove my statement by a quote from the Catholic Bible, Genesis,2:3-4, "By the seventh day God finished what he had been doing and stopped working. He blessed the seventh day and set it apart as a special day, because by that day he had completed his creation and stopped working. And that is how the universe was created." In Catechism they said something about Sundays should be not too stressful and hectic and there should be som form of relaxation for God finally finished creating the whole universe (don't blame me should I get this wrong...)
Apparently the world seems to desapprove of this statement for do you see people relaxing on Sundays doing nothing but having fun and laughter? Hardly, eh??

Pearlyn and I are very lucky to be the first to "register" for the one and only pair group in the Physics Portfolio. When we decided on our partnership, I went to tell Yi Qi immediately (as I overheard a few people planning to do pair work with another classmate) THANKS GOODNESS we "reserved" a special place for both Pearlyn and I. Yayyy.
That Physics project is about pendulums. We have to conduct experiments and all that stuff. Appears interesting yet a bit boring. But i'll never know. Pearlyn and I plan to start work very soon. :):):)

Hey, guess what? When I first joined S.O. (after getting transferred, phew), I wasn't really enthusiastic about going for the CCA. I could not play as fast as the orchestra, and I felt like a fish out of water. Helpless and pitiful. I was like half-staring at the score all the time. Seriously. But because of my really wonderful seniors, they showed me how to play the notes and helped me gain rhythm. Pretty soon I could play and join in quite okay and fast, and I really like the CCA now. It's G-R-E-A-T!

At last, I have good news and bad news.
Which would you like to hear first?

Good news then--
My whole family will be reunited in September (it's coming in one month's time, yippee!!!). My mom would have come back from her trip to visit my dad by this monday, my dad will be coming back from Taipei, and my sister will be back from London. Yay, I can spend the goold ol' times with my whole family. Not just my mom, maid and I. The three lonesome female Musketeers. Ha!

Bad news--
Today, I was really thirsty when I reached the chapel. I went to the church canteen and walked towards the vending machine (drinks). I was inserting a twenty cent coin and I didn't here the coin go "ker-plunk" into the machine. At first I thought it was noisy and I couldn't hear. But when I inserted a fifty cent coin, I still couldn't hear anything. then I realized the the machine might be spoiled. So I turned the coin return lever. NO COINS CAME OUT. I was like "OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" i WENT TO ASK FOR HELP. then one old man came and put in a ten cent coin, but it also got stuck. He said that the coin box must be s full no more coins could fit in. Then I asked when the person came to collect the money, I could have a refund. Then the old man sounded annoyed and said," Get a refund??? Are you sure? That man won't even believe you. You'd think he've believe you had inserted coins and you couldn't get your money back? You can never get your money back. It's just too bad." At the point of time I was fuming mad. I was so mad I wanted to say WTF. The man not only insulted me, I couldn't even get my seventy cents back. And that were the last of my coins. POOOOOOO!!!

Okay, this post is getting too long and boring.
I have to cut it down.

CIAO :)
