God called Minyi home yesterday. I saw her every now and then in the school compound when we were back at St. Nicks. Although we were in SN for 10 years (primary to secondary school), I never really knew her. We were placed in different classes every year and we chose different CCAs. There was never really a chance for us to meet. I still have a heavy heart knowing that so many of my friends have lost a good friend to brain cancer. She was a part of so many people's lives...and she will be missed. A lot.

On a less sombre note, Jasmine, Hilary and Po Han came over to my place to play some Wii on Sunday :)

We played lots of fun games from Wii Resort to Wii Music to Mario Kart. We were laughing hysterically over how we deteriorated from striking to knocking 99/100 pins to eventually 96/100 pins in 100 pin bowling.

For dinner, we ate the famous hokkien mee from Chomp Chomp and ice jelly for dessert! Haven't eaten those in a long, long time. Come to think of it, I only get to eat such good food when my dad's back.

It's really the moments like this that make me appreciate all my friends and family :)
