Hi guys so sorry for the lack of updates, I didn't bring my laptop with me to California and the mobile version of blogger is horrible when it comes to sorting pictures.

For starters, I have gotten the teaching internship!!! I have been allocated to teach at St. Theresa's Convent and I'll be teaching music and math. This is a really exciting internship for me because I want to see if teaching is a career I want to pursue/ something I will enjoy doing. I've been dreaming and envisioning of what I want to do as a teacher and I want to see if I can empower students (: My only concern is that St. Theresa's Convent isn't an MEP/HMP school so that means I will be teaching general music. As far as I know, even though I was in MEP in SN, we still had general music lessons and nobody paid attention in that class because it was either too basic/boring/we learnt guitar and the lessons were very slow-moving.

If I have to teach guitar/any instrument I am so done for XD

On another note I'm slightly disappointed I was not allocated to St. Nicks. I wanted to teach MEP students and I guess I'm not fated to teach SN girls just yet. St Theresa's convent is also at Telok Blangah for God's sake that's extremely far away from where I live. It's funny how MOE stated in their email that "where we couldn't assign you to your first choice, we selected a school based on your address". Apparently taking an hour to travel to work seems fine to them -.-

I have no regrets and I think this is an opportunity of a life time (: I don't know if I will fulfill my prophecy of becoming a teacher but I hope everything will be okay
