The photo album is finally up on Facebook! Now it's time for the update on the latest TPO Concert :)

Working with Shue Churn has definitely been a really eye-opening experience. I was initially very intimidated by her because she was a former-SSO musician and from what my violin teacher said, she wants strong player for a stand partner and she's quite particular about some details. Given that my violin teacher and Shue Churn are good friends, I was under a lot of pressure to ensure that I did not disappoint her.

She's taught me so much and I've learnt so much from her. I'm pretty grateful to be her desk partner :)

I'm staying at Conrad hotel for the next few days! My father's back in Singapore for a meeting and he has a few days' stay at Conrad. Decided to help him make use of the room and enjoy the facilities :D

Will blog about it during my stay here.

Today I learnt how to reverse the car during driving lesson today! I was petrified before I made the turn as the girl in front of me tried to reverse the car into the lot so many times but the rear wheel kept hitting against the kerb so she had to readjust the car multiple times. From the rear-view mirror I could see that her instructor was making really big gestures and getting increasingly impatient at her progress. Fear took over me when she finally succeeded in reversing because I did not want to fail the module.

Surprisingly, I had beginner's luck and I completed the whole reversing shenenigan on my first try! The instructor was really good and told me exactly what to do, which helped me to complete the reversing very quickly and smoothly. Really stoked and was quite happy until I hit the kerb while trying to exit the lot (of all times to hit the kerb) on my second try -.- Lesson learnt: don't be too happy too fast.
