My mom was stuck in a stall choosing some umbrellas.

There was this guy standing on a chair shouting "Offer! Offer! 50 yuan!"(SGD ~$2.00)

My mom chose 2 umbrellas and when she handed the cashier a 100 NT note, he told her that she needed to pay another 100 NT.

My mom realized that that shouting man was sly. He said "Of-fuh" which sounded like "Offer!", making her think that each umbrella only costed 50NT, when actually it just had a discount of 50NT. Her word processor played a part in this too. =.=

She seriously needs to have her ears digged.
